Jamestown Adds Two Restaurants to Bay Area Shopping Center

Alameda, Calif. – The 594,000-square-foot open-air shopping center now has 15 restaurants, cafés and a weekly Saturday food market.

Alameda, Calif. – Jamestown Properties has added two new restaurants at the South Shore Center, a 594,000-square-foot open-air center on Alameda Island, 15 miles east of San Francisco. Bagel Shop Café signed a 10-year lease for the 2,323-square-foot space located next to Old Navy and will open this summer. The Best Lil’ Porkhouse will open its third location at South Shore Center this year. The restaurant signed a 10-year lease for 3,639 square feet of space near Loard’s Ice Cream.

SRS Real Estate Partners’ broker Bob Quigley handled the lease transaction for the Bagel Street Café. Julie Taylor, senior vice president of Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank and associate Stephen Rusher represented Jamestown in the transaction.
