KPR Centers Acquires 195,000-Square-Foot Shopping Center in Suburban Chicago for $40 Million

Niles, Ill. — New York City-based KPR Centers has acquired Pointe Plaza, a 195,000-square-foot shopping center located in Niles, roughly 15 miles north of downtown Chicago, for $40 million. A Fresh Farms grocery store anchors the property, which was 94 percent leased at the time of sale. Other tenants include Ross Dress for Less, dd’s Discounts, Daiso, America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, Bath & Body Works, Crumbl Cookies and Verizon Wireless, along with multiple free-standing outparcels such as Chick-fil-A, Walgreens and Wells Fargo. Richard Frolik, Christian Williams and George Good of CBRE represented the seller in the transaction.
