Las Vegas — Macy’s will open a 180,000-square-foot store.
Las Vegas — Macy’s will be the first anchor for the Shops at Summerlin, the retail component of the 106-acre Summerlin development in Las Vegas. The 1.5 million-square-foot Summerlin project will also include a nine-story office building, a hotel and multifamily residential units. The Shops at Summerlin will include more than 125 stores and restaurants in an open-air setting with pedestrian walkways. The two-story Macy’s location will be 180,000 square feet. Construction of the Macy’s store will begin in fall 2013 and will be compete in fall 2014. The Howard Hughes Corp. is developing the project.
