Atlanta —Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $8.3 million sale of Hightower Station, a 56,300-square-foot shopping center located in Atlanta. Built in 1989 on 6.3 acres, the center is anchored by Dollar Tree and Atlanta SMART Academy, which occupies 70 percent of the property. There are 14 additional tenants, including Subway and Cricket Wireless. Taylor Abbott and Eric Abbott of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller in the transaction. Salim Valiani and Shujan Valiani secured the buyer, an undisclosed private investor. Additionally, Garrett Fierstein of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. (MMCC) secured $5.8 million in acquisition financing on behalf of the buyer. The 10-year loan features a 6.8 percent interest rate and 25-year amortization.
