Michigan Company Buys Georgia Neighborhood Center

Jasper, Ga. — Marcus & Millichap brokers the sale.

The Shops at Jasper are located at 934 E. Church St. in Jasper, Ga.Jasper, Ga.  — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of the Shops at Jasper, a 61,549-square-foot shopping center anchored by a 14,358-square-foot Save-A-Lot and a 15,000-square-foot Beall’s Department Store.

Tim Giambrone, Vice President of Investments and Director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Retail Group in Atlanta, represented the seller, a private company out of Ann Arbor, Mich. The buyer was a private investor from California.

The center was built in 2006 and is 93 percent leased. The 10-mile trade area includes approximately 40,000 people with an average household income of more than $63,000.
