Plainsboro, N.J. — Since taking ownership of the center, Onyx has leased a combined 20,000 square feet to Indus American Bank, as well as junior anchor tenants Lightbridge Academy and Planet Fitness.

Onyx Equities LLC has begun a $2 million renovation project at Plainsboro Plaza in Plainsboro. The firm purchased the 218,000-square-foot shopping center in 2013. R.J. Brunelli & Co. is the exclusive listing agent for all inquiries. Onyx plans to invest approximately $2 million in capital improvements that will increase brand visibility and improve traffic flow. Renovations include modern facades with larger signs, new landscaping, a new 58-foot landmark tower, new directional signage, a new pylon sign at the intersection of Schalks Crossing Road and Scudders Mill Road, three new pylons at the plaza’s entrances and a reconfiguration of the parking field. Upgrades began last summer and will be completed in spring 2015.
