Old Bridge, N.J. — R.J. Brunelli & Co. LLC has arranged four retail leases on behalf of Family Dollar, European Wax Center and Liberty Discount Furniture & Mattress. Family Dollar will move into an 11,878-square-foot space within Hawthorne Center in Hawthorne. Family Dollar will move into the space that sister chain Dollar Tree formerly occupied. Dollar Tree is moving across the property to a former Flaming Grill Buffett location. Family Dollar is expected to open in the third quarter of this year while Dollar Tree will open in the second quarter.
R.J. Brunelli negotiated two leases on behalf of European Wax, with the first lease being for a 1,640-square-foot space at Heidenberg Plaza in Closter. European Wax also signed a 1,358-square-foot lease at Chester Springs Shopping Center in Chester. Mathew Kendarian of Jeffery Realty represented the undisclosed landlord in the transaction. The retailer is expected to open both new locations this quarter. Danielle Brunelli of R.J. Brunelli represented the Family Dollar and European Wax Center in the lease negotiations.
Liberty Discount Furniture & Mattress inked a 2,700-square-foot lease in Lawrence Township. The retailer is expected to open at the 6,600-square-foot strip center this spring. Peter Miller of R.J. Brunelli represented both the undisclosed landlord and tenant in the transaction.
