The Village at Livingston to Be Renamed The Shoppes at the Livingston Circle

Livingston, N.J. — The Village at Livingston in Livingston will be rebranded and renamed The Shoppes at the Livingston Circle.

Anchored by The Fresh Market, the 93,000-square-foot shopping center is owned and managed by Eastman Cos. of Livingston.

The new name underscores the shopping center’s location at the intersection of Route 10 and Eisenhower Parkway near the Livingston traffic circle, according to Peter Schofel, Eastman’s co-managing partner.

“The Village at Livingston has been a retail mainstay in Livingston for more than 20 years,” says Schofel. “The name change aligns with our goals to reposition the center and elevate the shopping and dining experience for our customers. In the coming months, shoppers can expect to see changes such as an updated logo and new signage to reinforce the center’s new brand identity in the marketplace.”

Upscale specialty grocer The Fresh Market joined the shopping center’s retail mix last fall, occupying a 23,000-square-foot portion of the former Pathmark store. The Livingston Fresh Market represents the chain’s third New Jersey location, following previous openings in Bedminster and Montvale. Natural pet products retailer Choice Pet Supply celebrated its grand opening at The Shoppes at the Livingston Circle last fall, while Ike’s Bagel Café and national chain Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa are slated to open later this spring.
