ValueRock Realty Acquires Two Shopping Centers in Northern California for Combined $28.6 Million

Albany and Folsom, Calif. — ValueRock Realty Partners has acquired two shopping centers in Northern California for a combined $28.6 million.

The company acquired University Village, a 43,858-square-foot retail center in Albany, for $19.3 million and a Sprouts Farmers Market in Folsom for $9.3 million. Oppidan sold both properties in a 1031 exchange. University Village is home to tenants including Sprouts Farmers Market, Pet Food Express, Starbucks Coffee, Banfield Pet Hospital and The Habit Burger. The Sprouts Farmers Market in Folsom was formerly Orchard Supply Hardware and was recently converted into a Sprouts.
