Punta Gorda, Fla. — The Dowd Cos. has negotiated the $7 million sale of Cleveland Marketplace, a 66,479-square-foot community center located in the Southwest Florida city of Punta Gorda. Winn-Dixie, which has anchored the center since 1998, occupies 48,399 square feet alongside daily-needs and restaurant tenants including Hanna Pharmacy, Subway, Sky Liquor and Empire Bagel. John Dowd, Theresa Johnson and Peyton Dowd of The Dowd Cos. represented both the seller and the buyer, a private 1031 investor, in the transaction.
