Irvine, Calif. — Irvine Co. is set to begin a $30 million renovation at Woodbridge Village Center, a 161,204-square-foot shopping center overlooking Woodbridge North Lake in Irvine.
The renovation will include upgraded retail, dining and entertainment tenants, refreshed architecture and an expansive ‘Front Porch’ dining and gathering space overlooking the lake near the property’s main entrance. New tenants will be announced throughout the year.
The open-air ‘Front Porch’ will be created through the removal of a two-story, mixed-use building at the heart of the center. The renovation will reduce Woodbridge Village Center’s square footage by nearly 15,000 square feet.
Construction is set to begin in August 2016, with a targeted completion in the second half of 2017.
