Katy, Texas — Katy, Texas-based Academy Sports + Outdoors has opened five new locations in the fourth quarter of 2025. The new locations include Russellville, Arkansas; Seguin, Texas; Fort Wayne, Indiana; El Paso, Texas; and New Braunfels, Texas. With the addition of these stores, Academy will have opened 24 new locations by the end of fiscal 2025.
Originally founded in 1938 as a family business, Academy now operates more than 300 stores across 21 states.
