Long Beach, Calif. — CenterCal Properties and DRA Advisors has acquired Long Beach Towne Center, with plans to redevelop the 870,000-square-foot property into a prominent retail and entertainment destination. Redevelopments will include new dining options such as chef-driven restaurants, fast-casual concepts and cafés; new retail brands; outdoor gathering areas with shaded seating, enhanced landscaping, public art and year-round programming; updated entertainment offerings with the addition of boutique fitness, wellness and family-oriented experiences; and renovated signage, lighting, pedestrian pathways and parking areas.

Fayetteville, Ga. — Trilith Development plans to soon complete Trilith Live, a 530,000-square-foot live entertainment complex at the Town at Trilith, a 235-acre master-planned community in Fayetteville within south metro Atlanta. Wichita, Kan. — Industrial Realty Group LLC (IRG) and Provider Real Estate Partners LLC (PREP) have acquired Towne West Square Mall, a 650,000-square-foot shopping mall in southwest Wichita. Houston — Houston-based Midway, in collaboration with 3Edgewood and Parkway, has unveiled plans for Central Park Post Oak, a mixed-use redevelopment project located in Houston’s Uptown District. Formerly Post Oak Central, the co-developers will revitalize the 17-acre campus to include additional retail, new restaurants and green space. Midway and Parkway formed a joint venture to acquire the campus in October 2023 before recently buying out their investment partners. Developed by Gerald D. Carmel, Ind. — Skender Construction has broken ground on Ardalan Plaza, a $19 million development that will serve as a gateway to the city of Carmel’s Arts & Design District.
