Kiley Ranch concept

Sparks, Nev. — Barclay Group has acquired a 46.7-acre site in Sparks for $25.6 million, with plans to develop the property into a 400,000-square-foot retail center. Dubbed Kiley Ranch Marketplace, the development will become the first new retail power center in Sparks since 2005. Phase I of the project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026. Shawn Smith and Sean Retzloff of Kidder Mathews represented both Barclay Group and the seller, KM2 Development, Inc., in the transaction. Kidder Mathews will also handle leasing for the project.

Reisterstown Shopping Center

Reisterstown, Md. — Greenberg Gibbons has completed the expansion of a retail building, which now totals 15,000 square feet, at Reisterstown Shopping Center, a 167,212-square-foot shopping center located in the Baltimore suburb of Reisterstown. The retail building includes an 11,076-square-foot renovated Advance Auto Parts, which is now open. Two additional tenants at the building — Jersey Mike’s Subs and Quickway Japanese Hibachi — will open this fall. Other tenants at Reisterstown Shopping Center include Lidl, Big Lots, Walgreens, Planet Fitness, Starbucks Coffee, Chick-fil-A, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Dollar Tree. …

Village North

West Chester Township, Ohio — A partnership between Sansone Group and Clous Road Partners has broken ground on Village North, a 90,000-square-foot retail project in West Chester Township, approximately 17 miles north of Cincinnati. Upon completion, the 12.6-acre development will feature five buildings and be anchored by a 40,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market. Buffalo Construction is serving as the general contractor, and Cushman & Wakefield will manage leasing for the project. Village North is scheduled to open in 2026.

McDonough, Ga. — Halpern Enterprises has completed a 6,486-square-foot, multi-tenant retail strip center located in the southern Atlanta suburb of McDonough. The three-tenant property is part of the 20-acre North McDonough Village mixed-use development. The property includes a 2,486-square-foot Starbucks Coffee with a drive-thru and a 2,000-square-foot dental office, with the remaining 2,000 square feet available for lease. Lucas, Texas — Younger Partners has brokered the sale of a 42-acre parcel of land in Lucas, roughly 30 miles northeast of Dallas, to Lucas Crossing Ltd., an affiliate of Dallas-based Malouf Interests. According to Younger Partners, the buyer intends to develop a 130,000-square-foot grocery-anchored shopping center, a 25,000-square-foot restaurant village with 15 adjacent pad sites and a community park on the site. Miami — The Miami-Dade County Commission has granted final approval for Little River District, a $3 billion mixed-use development in Miami’s Little River and Little Haiti neighborhoods. SG Holdings, a joint venture between Swerdlow Group, SJM Partners and Alben Duffie, is the developer.
