Plano, Texas — Dallas-based Stillwater Capital is making significant progress on Haggard Farm, a 142-acre mixed-use district located in the Dallas suburb of Plano. Construction began on the initial phase of the planned $750 million campus in December 2023. Stillwater Capital has surpassed $300 million in investment of Haggard Farm’s first phase, which will feature a 180,000-square-foot retail village, a 350-unit apartment community called The Bowen, 188 luxury townhomes, hike-and-bike trails and a 3-acre neighborhood park. QDOBA Signs 17-Unit Development Agreement For San Diego County

San Diego — QDOBA Mexican Eats has signed a new development agreement for 17 restaurants across San Diego County in California. The agreement is led by Hyperion Brands LLC, a San Diego based multi-unit operator. QDOBA and its franchise partners currently operate approximately 875 restaurants, with plans to double the brand’s footprint to approximately 2,000 restaurants and open 100 restaurants annually in the years ahead. The fast-casual brand has a presence in 46 U.S. states, as well as in Canada, Puerto Rico, Japan and South Korea.

Salina, Kan. — Mokas Coffee & Eatery has signed a nine-unit franchise development deal in the Kansas City area with Cornerstone Hospitality, led by veteran entrepreneurs Brice Turner and Jeff Bennett. The deal includes six units across Clay and Jackson counties in Missouri, along with three additional development units outside the metro area in Derby, Garden City and Manhattan, Kansas.
