Maricopa, Ariz. — Legacy Development Partners has purchased a development site for a planned, ground-up retail center located in Maricopa. Construction on the property is expected to begin immediately. Dubbed Legacy on Porter, the 6.6-acre project will deliver more than 45,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and service-oriented space. Confirmed tenants include Goodwill, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Jersey Mike’s Subs, HTeaO, Orlie’s Taproom and Swig. Leasing negotiations for the remaining shop space and pad sites are ongoing.

Savannah, Ga. — The Ardent Cos. has signed Sprouts Farmers Market to anchor Crossroads Shopping Center, a 92,000-square-foot retail center located in Savannah. Ardent will redevelop 28,000 square feet for the addition of Sprouts Farmers Market, as well as a second retail suite. In addition to repositioning the tenant mix, the Atlanta-based real estate firm will also upgrade the property’s façade. Demolition is expected to begin this summer, with a targeted opening in 2027.

The local owner-operator plans to occupy 6,000 square feet within the building for its new headquarters and will lease the remaining space to food-and-beverage and fitness concepts.
