Cypress, Texas — Cinemark Holdings will open an eight-screen CUT! by Cinemark movie theater in Cypress, a northwestern suburb of Houston. The theater will feature wall-to-wall screens, enhanced sound systems, a full-service food menu and bar and an outdoor patio with a fireplace and games. Washington Prime Group will develop the theater, with construction scheduled to begin in November and the opening slated for July 2020.

Philadelphia — PMC Property Group, a Philadelphia-based developer, has broken ground on a 65,000-square-foot flagship store for GIANT Food Stores in Philadelphia. Located within the Gensler-designed Riverwalk mixed-use project, the store will offer more than 600 varieties of fresh and local produce, as well as curbside pickup and delivery services. The store is slated to open by fall 2020.

Clifton, N.J. — Filipino grocer FilStop will open a 16,000-square-foot flagship store in Clifton, a western suburb of New York City. The specialized grocery store will also maintain its original 4,000-square-foot location in Jersey City. The store will be located within Clifton Plaza, a 95,000-square-foot retail center anchored by Big Lots, Blink Fitness and Dollar Tree. The opening is slated for Aug. 22.

Atlanta — Delaware North will open Good Game, a 7,500-square-foot dining and entertainment concept that offers Topgolf’s Swing Suite virtual simulator bays. Good Game will house seven bays, accommodating up to eight people in each bay. The Topgolf Swing Suite bays also offer a variety of virtual games, including the Topgolf target game, Zombie Dodgeball, Hockey Shots, Baseball Pitching and Carnival Classic. San Francisco — The San Francisco Planning Commission has unanimously approved plans to redevelop the historic Flower Mart in the city’s South of Market (SoMa) district as a 2.3 million-square-foot mixed-use property.
