Naples, Fla. — Halvorsen Holdings has broken ground on Fiddler’s Creek Plaza, a 60,000-square-foot, Publix-anchored shopping center in Naples. The 48,000-square-foot Publix is one of the company’s newest prototype models, featuring a drive-thru pharmacy and an updated layout with a mezzanine level. There is 12,000 square feet of shop space available as well, including a 2,925-square-foot end-cap restaurant space with an outdoor patio. Three outparcels are available for sale or ground lease. Floor & Décor to Open Two Stores Totaling 154,000 Square Feet in Connecticut

Danbury and Fairfield, Conn. — Floor & Décor will open its first two stores in Connecticut during the first half of 2021 when the home improvement retailer rolls out a 74,000-square-foot store in Danbury and an 80,000-square-foot store in Fairfield. In Danbury, Floor & Décor purchased a 150,000-square-foot building that formerly housed Pilgrim Furniture and Bob’s Stores. Bainbridge Township and Aurora, Ohio — Industrial Commercial Properties (ICP) has purchased a 377-acre tract that formerly housed the Geauga Lake Amusement Park and Sea World Ohio. Cedar Fair sold the asset for an undisclosed price. Home Depot to Open 120,000-Square-Foot Store on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

New York City — The Home Depot Inc. will open a 120,000-square-foot store at 410 E. 61st St. on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, a deal that represents the largest retail lease executed in the borough in the last several years. Westbury, N.Y. — Austin-based Whole Foods Market will open a 57,000-square-foot grocery store at 867 E. Gate Blvd. in the Long Island city of Westbury on Thursday, Nov. 5. The new store will offer a coffee bar with cold brew and iced tea on tap, as well as juice bar with smoothies, a full-service butcher, in-house bakery, prepared foods section and a selection of more than 350 beers. The store will also offer curbside pickup and two-hour delivery for Amazon Prime members in select cities and towns.
