Mansfield, Texas — Flix Brewhouse has signed a 15-year lease to open a 40,000-square-foot theater at The Shops at Broad, a retail center located in Mansfield. Scheduled to open this fall, the venue will feature nine auditoriums and offer in-theater dining service. Sam Kartalis of Younger Partners and John Weber of Weber & Co., who manage the property, negotiated the lease on behalf of the landlord, Trez Capital.

Inglewood, Calif. — Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas will open a 55,137-square-foot theater at Hollywood Park, a mixed-use development currently underway in Inglewood. Scheduled to open this month and dubbed Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Inglewood IMAX, the space will feature 12 screens and 1,236 seats.
Baltimore — Chasen Cos. has signed Puttshack to The Whitney, a five-story mixed-use building in Baltimore’s Harbor East neighborhood. Scheduled to open in late 2024, the space will mark the first Maryland location for the brand, which currently has nine locations in the U.S. The space will comprise roughly 25,000 square feet and feature three nine-hole mini-golf courses, private event space, two full-service bars and an outdoor patio space with 50-seat capacity.
Willow Grove, Pa. — The second phase of construction for Tilted 10, an entertainment complex totaling 103,000 square feet, has been completed at Willow Grove Park Mall, a PREIT property located in Willow Grove. Tilted 10, a Nickles and Dimes Inc. concept, features bowling, games, golf courses, a shooting gallery, bumper car rink and laser tag arena. A full-service taco bar is also currently underway at the location.
Hutto, Texas — EVO Entertainment Group has signed a 53,300-square-foot lease at Townwest Commons in Hutto, with plans to open a cinema, bowling and entertainment venue at the property in 2024. Nathan Nickerson of Common Ground represented the tenant in the leasing negotiations and secured an incentives package with the City of Hutto. Josh Friedlander and David Meyers represented the landlord, NewQuest Properties, on an internal basis.
Nashville, Tenn. — The Cordish Cos. has revealed plans for Nashville Live!, an adaptive reuse of the historic George Jones building in Downtown Nashville. Upon completion, the property will offer 50,000 square feet of dining and entertainment space. Atlantic City, N.J. — Tower Investments has developed ISLAND Waterpark, a 120,000-square-foot waterpark located at The Showboat Resort in Atlantic City. Scheduled to open June 30, the property features 11 slides, a surf simulator, man-made waterfall, rollercoaster, zipline course, treehouse, water sports pool, play area for children and a lazy river. Additionally, the waterpark includes six bars and a 10,000-square-foot adults-only space.
Chicago — A joint venture between Hubbard Street Group and College Park Athletic Clubs has announced plans to open a 41,000-square-foot pickleball-themed sports and entertainment center in Chicago. Dubbed Pickle Haüs, the concept will occupy a former retail store and feature 12 indoor pickleball courts, three golf simulators, an outdoor patio and a bar, entertainment and event space. Hubbard Street has owned the vacant building since 2018, and construction is currently underway on the property. Chesterfield, Mo. — Keystone Construction Co. has completed Hub Stl, a $4 million outdoor entertainment space at The District of St. Louis in Chesterfield, roughly 20 miles outside St. Louis. The District is devoted to live music, food and beverage concepts and retail space. Construction on Hub Stl, which features a performance stage and viewing area with a 400-person capacity, began last fall.
