Naples, Fla. — WMG Development has broken ground on The Shoppes at Orange Blossom, a new retail center in Naples. Publix will anchor the property, which will total more than 60,000 square feet. Other tenants at the center will include Great Clips and Le Nail Salon. Scheduled for completion in late summer 2025, the project is situated at the entrance to Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park, a 150-acre outdoor park and entertainment destination, and adjacent to apartment community Emblem at Orange Blossom.

Downingtown, Pa. — BWE has arranged $45 million in first mortgage financing for Brandywine Square Shopping Center, a 607,999-square-foot retail center located in Downingtown, roughly 40 miles outside Philadelphia. Kevin Hicks of BWE secured the financing through a life insurance company on behalf of the borrower, Allied Properties. Wegman’s anchors the property. Other tenants at the center include BJ’s Wholesale, Dick’s Sporting Goods, DSW, PetSmart, Regal Cinema and Best Buy.
Willingboro, N.J. — Legacy Realty Group Advisors has brokered the $4 million sale of Kennedy Plaza, a shopping center located in Willingboro, roughly 20 miles outside Philadelphia. A grocery store anchors the property, which totals 58,900 square feet. Jacob Baruch, Jonah Warshaw and Ari Warshaw of Legacy represented the buyer in the transaction. Blaine Foreman of Metro Commercial represented the seller.
Reston and Falls Church, Va. — The Fresh Market has announced plans to open stores as an anchor tenant within two mixed-use developments in metropolitan Washington, D.C. The grocer will occupy approximately 27,000 square feet of space at Reston Station, a mixed-use development in Reston by Comstock Cos.; and 29,000 square feet at West Falls, a 10-acre mixed-use development in Falls Church by Hoffman & Associates. Nolensville, Tenn. — Watkins Real Estate Group is underway on the development of Village Green, a 90,473-square-foot shopping center in Nolensville, roughly 20 miles outside Nashville. Publix will anchor the property, which is scheduled for completion in summer 2025. Other tenants at the center will include Heartland Dental, Club Pilates, Jersey Mike’s, Waxing the City, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa and Physicians Urgent Care. William Shell and Harris McCullough of JLL will manage leasing at the development on behalf of Watkins.
Rochester, N.Y. — Red Oak Capital Holdings has provided an $8.6 million loan for the acquisition of Irondequoit Plaza, a 205,000-square-foot shopping center located in Rochester. Sky Capital is the borrower. Wegman’s anchors the center, which was developed in 1980. Other tenants at the property include Citizens Bank, Dollar Tree, Dunkin Donut and Big Lots. Milledgeville, Ga. — The Sembler Co. has completed the development of Lakeside Commons, a 60,500-square-foot retail center located in Milledgeville. A 48,387-square-foot, freestanding Publix anchors property, which also features 12,000 square feet of small shop space and two outparcels. Other tenants at the property include Sugar Polish Nail Spa and T-Mobile, which occupy 3,600 and 2,400 square feet, respectively. Construction on the center began early last year.
South Jordan, Utah — Capstone Advisors has purchased Trail Crossing Shopping Center, a 38,397-square-foot retail center located in South Jordan, roughly 20 miles south of Salt Lake City. Smith’s Food and Drug, a subsidiary of The Kroger Co., anchors the property, which was built in 2017. Wright Development Group sold the center for an undisclosed price.
Barrington, Ill. — An affiliate of Next Realty LLC has sold The Shops at Flint Creek in the northwest Chicago suburb of Barrington to a private investor for an undisclosed price. Heinen’s anchors the 60,000-square-foot property. Additional tenants at the center include Athletico, Ascension Medical Group Illinois, Epic Burger and Club Pilates. Fayetteville, N.C. — Branch Properties and Columbia Properties have purchased a 16.7-acre development site in Fayetteville, with plans to break ground on Rockfish Village, a shopping center that will span 76,237 square feet. A 48,387-square-foot Publix will anchor the property. The center will also feature 27,850 square feet of inline retail space and 2.4 acres of outparcels. Branch and Columbia plan to break ground on the project early next year, with delivery scheduled for the end of 2025.
