Fairview, Texas — Academy Sports + Outdoors has signed a lease to backfill the former 130,000-square-foot Macy’s space at Fairview Town Center, a 921,075-square-foot lifestyle center located in Fairview, roughly 30 miles north of downtown Dallas. Academy’s new store, which is currently being remodeled, will span 65,400 square feet and is expected to open by this summer. Thomas Glendenning of SHOP Cos. arranged the lease on behalf of Fairview Economic Development Corp. Elk Grove Village, Ill. — Nicholas & Associates and Wingspan Development Group of the Nicholas Family of Cos. have opened the initial commercial phase of The VUE, a 10-acre mixed-use development in Elk Grove Village, about 20 miles northwest of Chicago. The retail tenants include Tensuke Market and Food Court, 7 Mile Cycles, Jarosch Bakery and Vini’s Pizza. Orlando, Fla. — Tavistock Development has signed leases with four new tenants to join Lake Nona West, a walkable, 405,000-square-foot shopping center underway in the Lake Nona master-planned community in Orlando. The 54-acre, Target-anchored shopping center is set to debut next month. New retailers joining the development include Drybar, Just Salad, Gloss Nail Co. and Kilwins Ice Cream. Previously announced tenants at Lake Nona West include Homesense, Barnes & Noble, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, Total Wine & More, JETSET Pilates, Nordstrom Rack, Sephora and Canonita, a Mexican restaurant.

Frisco, Texas — Wilks Development has signed leases with three new tenants at Firefly Park, a 217-acre mixed-use project under construction in Frisco, roughly 28 miles north of Dallas. Frenchie, Woodhouse Spa and Second Rodeo will join sportswear retailer TYLER’S at the Shops at Firefly Park.
