New York City — Fitness International has signed a 36,500-square-foot lease in New York City. Occupying the entirety of the retail space at 59 Maiden Lane in Manhattan, Fitness International will open a Club Studio facility at the property. Club Studio offers boutique fitness classes and amenities. David Abrams, Eliot Goldschmidt, Jeff Jacobson and Brandon Miller of masonre represented the landlord, AmTrust RE, in the lease negotiations. Chase Welles of The Shopping Center Group and John Kalamaras of RealSource Group represented the tenant.

Wauwatosa, Wis. — Dollar Tree has signed a 10,500-square-foot lease in the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa. The store will be situated within Burleigh Square. Emily Smits and Mike Fitzgerald of Mid-America Real Estate represented the landlord, an entity doing business as CPG Wauwatosa LLC.
Aventura, Fla. — Diamonds Direct has opened a new store in Aventura. Situated on Biscayne Boulevard, the showroom totals 6,000 square feet. The store offers loose and mounted diamonds, engagement ring mountings, jewelry, wedding bands and pearls, among other products.
Madison, Wis. — Whole Foods Market will open a new, 50,000-square-foot store in Madison on Dec. 13. This marks a relocation of the brand’s existing Madison store, which has been open since 1996. The store will anchor the 21-acre Madison Yards mixed-use development, which will also feature additional retail, restaurant and entertainment space surrounding a central green plaza. Products at the store will include more than 800 local items from the Midwest.
Mobile, Ala. — Topgolf has opened a new venue in Mobile, Alabama, marking the third in the state for the brand. Situated within McGowan Park Shopping Center, the venue features 60 outdoor, climate-controlled hitting bays across two levels, as well as a full-service restaurant, 22-foot video wall and more than 100 TVs. According to the company, Topgolf Mobile will employ roughly 200 associates and is the 95th outdoor Topgolf venue in the country.
Oceanport, N. J. — Baseline Social, a bar, restaurant and entertainment concept, has opened a 17,100-square-foot venue in Oceanport. Situated within The Commissary at Baseline, the space features a 640-foot LED viewing wall, 38-seat platform lounge and 3,700-square-foot entertainment section with five virtual golf bays. Other tenants at the property include Birdsmouth Beer and MGT Foods. Denholtz Properties is the developer and landlord at The Commissary.
Missouri City, Texas — Two new tenants have signed leases at Fort Bend Town Center, a multi-phase, 144-acre retail project currently underway by NewQuest Properties in Missouri City, roughly 20 miles outside Houston. EoS Fitness will occupy 40,000 square feet, and CoCo Bella has leased 12,530 square feet at the development. Bob Conwell and Andrew Alvis represented NewQuest in the lease negotiations on an internal basis. Ellijay, Ga. — Halpern Enterprises has signed two new leases totaling 26,450 square feet at Old Orchard Square, a 131,200-square-foot shopping center located in Ellijay. Halpern has owned the property, which is anchored by a 68,000-square-foot Ingles, since 1994. Marshalls will replace Black Bear Antiques in an 18,000-square-foot space, and Five Below will occupy 8,450 square feet at the center. Other tenants include BenchMark Physical Therapy, Okinawa Restaurant, UPS, Pizza King and Farmer’s Home Furniture.
Dallas — Two new tenants have signed leases at Alpha Plaza, a 76,229-square-foot retail center located in Dallas. Sherlock’s Escape Rooms and The Aussie Grind Provisions will occupy 4,800 and 2,177 square feet, respectively. Melanie Hughes and Erik Blais of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services, a partner of CORFAC International, arranged the leases on behalf of the landlord, an entity doing business as Kennington Alpha Plaza LLC.
Pontiac, Mich. — Farbman Group has arranged a 4,000-square-foot lease at Oakland Pointe Plaza in Pontiac, roughly 30 miles outside Detroit. Franchisees Leslie and Walter Czarnecki have opened a LaundroLab laundromat at the property, featuring high-tech washers and dryers, attendant service, a child playroom and vending machine. The franchisees plan to open laundromats in four additional locations. Carrie Weiss of NAI Farbman represented LaundroLab in the lease negotiations.
