Huntington, N.Y. — Four new tenants have signed leases at Huntington Shopping Center, a 21-acre retail center located in Huntington on Long Island. Williams Sonoma, J. Crew, Paris Baguette and BFT Fitness will occupy 5,317; 7,766; 2,776; and 2,649 square feet, respectively. Other tenants at the center include The Container Store, Whole Foods Market, REI, Lovesac, Burger Village and Just Salad. Toys "R" Us

Bloomington, Minn. — WHP Global, parent company of Toys “R” Us, will open an 11,000-square-foot flagship store within the 5.6 million-square-foot Mall of America in Bloomington, roughly 10 miles outside Minneapolis. Scheduled to open before Thanksgiving, the store marks the second flagship store in the country and the first in partnership with Go! Retail Group. Additional openings are scheduled for next year. Beginning next year, the Mall of America shop will also introduce branded elements including a Geoffrey’s Café and ice cream parlor as well as interactive experiences and product demonstrations.

Sip-Fresh

Huntington Beach, Calif. — Beverage concept Sip Fresh has signed a franchise deal for the development of three new stores in Southern California. Franchisees Brittany, Bryson and Risa Berryman will open the units, which are expected to be located within shopping centers in the Huntington Beach and Newport areas. Sip Fresh stores typically comprise between 400 and 1,400 square feet.

Alpharetta, Ga. — X-Golf has opened a 6,800-square-foot golf simulator and sports bar venue at RocaPoint Partners’ $500 million Halcyon development in Alpharetta. Halcyon comprises 135 acres of mixed-use space roughly 30 miles northeast of Atlanta. X-Golf occupies space on the ground-floor of Halcyon Grand, an apartment community located within the development. X-Golf’s venue features seven bays for group golf simulation, as well as a full bar serving beer, cocktails and appetizers. JLL represented RocaPoint in lease negotiations.

Woodbridge, N.J. — Fast Bagel has signed a lease at Plaza K, a 30,000-square-foot shopping center located in Woodbridge. Fast Bagel now occupies 2,093 square feet on the first floor of the two-level property. Other tenants at the center include The Vitamin Shoppe, Sleep Number and Any Garment Cleaners. Kevin Pelio of Azarian Realty Co. represented both the tenant and landlord in the leasing negotiations.

Round Rock, Texas — Desi Brothers Farmers Market will open a 47,814-square-foot store at Round Rock Crossing in Round Rock, roughly 20 miles north of Austin. Britt Morrison and Nick Naumann of Weitzman represented the undisclosed landlord in the lease negotiations. Michael DuBois of Pride Commercial Properties represented Desi Brothers. The opening is scheduled for next year. Other tenants at Round Rock Crossing include Target, Best Buy, Michaels and Salons by JC.

The-Container-Store_Miami-Worldcenter

Miami — Two new tenants have signed leases at Miami Worldcenter, a 27-acre mixed-use project being developed in phases in downtown Miami. Beginning next year, The Container Store and and Sweet Paris Creperie & Café will occupy 15,681 and 2,330 square feet, respectively. Miami Worldcenter Associates is developing the property with CIM Group, which handles retail leasing at the project. Retail space at the development is now more than 90 percent leased. Other tenants include Chug’s Express, El Vecino Cigar & Cocktail Bar, lululemon, Sephora, Sports & Social and Club Studio.

OAK_Oklahoma-City

Oklahoma City — Three new tenants have signed leases at OAK, a 20-acre mixed-use project currently underway in Oklahoma City. Williams Sonoma, Tommy Bahama and Pottery Barn will occupy 5,500; 8,000; and 12,420 square feet, respectively. Upon completion, which is scheduled for September 2024, Phase I of the development will feature 135,000 square feet of retail, in addition to a hotel and residential units. Veritas Development, with co-investor the Dobson family, is the developer and landlord.

Activate

Houston — Activate, an interactive indoor gaming experience, has opened a 9,600-square-foot venue in Houston. Situated within the Katy Fry Center, the space features 11 activity rooms with more than 500 different games and difficulty levels. The brand, which is designed for adult participants, currently has seven additional centers in Atlanta; Chicago; Dallas; Gatlinburg, Tennessee; American Dream, New Jersey; and Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky. Additional venues are scheduled to open this year, including in Birmingham, Alabama.

Hayward, Calif. — Las Montañas Supermarket has opened a 23,334-square-foot store at Creekside Center, an 80,311-square-foot retail center located in Hayward. In addition to a selection of produce, meat, poultry and seafood, the store features a taqueria. Other tenants at Creekside Center include The King Mattress and Furniture II, Supernails, Cricket Wireless, Rent-A-Center, Papa John’s, Subway and Carl’s Jr.
