Tustin, Calif. — Six new tenants have signed leases at The District at Tustin Legacy, a shopping center located in Tustin. Restaurants Prime Hot Pot and Curry Pizza House are now open at the center. Baby Shoppe has also opened at the property, and World of Racing, Spirit Halloween and 3CAT are scheduled to open this summer. Vestar is the landlord of the center, which was jointly developed by Vestar and Kimco.

Livingston, N.J. — Azarian Realty Co. has arranged two leases at The Livingston Town Center, a 65,523-square-foot retail center located in Livingston. Jacqueline Special Occasions and Ship Logistics will occupy 2,587 and 612 square feet at the property, respectively. Other tenants at the center include Hot Worx, LA Bikini, Omaha Steaks, Mixology, Wells Fargo and 16 Handles. Kevin Pelio of Azarian Realty Co. represented both the landlord and tenants in the leasing negotiations.
New York City — Fast-casual pretzel brand Wetzel’s Pretzels has opened a new kiosk within Macy’s at the Queens Center Mall in New York City. Wetzel’s Pretzels occupies 480 square feet within the store, including a baking kiosk and dry storage space. The unit is owned and operated by franchisee Ricky Alam, whose portfolio includes nine Wetzel’s locations in Southern California and four in New York and New Jersey. Wetzel’s celebrated its 400-unit milestone earlier this year.
New York City — State of Play Hospitality, an entertainment retail operator, has signed a lease at 31 Union Square West in New York City, with plans to open a Flight Club venue. Spanning 10,700 square feet on the ground floor and basement of the property, the facility will offer darts-focused games with food-and-beverage options. Scheduled to open in 2025, this marks the ninth North America location for the brand. Blue Water Grill restaurant previously occupied the space.
Atlanta — Immersive technology, media and entertainment company Cosm has announced plans to open an entertainment venue at Centennial Yards, a $5 billion mixed-use development currently underway in downtown Atlanta. Situated within the project’s Sports and Entertainment District, the venue will comprise 70,000 square feet across three levels. Architecture firm Gensler is designing the facility. Dubbed Shared Reality, the venue will feature Cosm’s proprietary technology, including a 12K+ LED dome spanning 87 feet in diameter. Tempe, Ariz. — Four new tenants have signed leases totaling 150,000 square feet at Tempe Marketplace, a 1.3 million-square-foot retail development located in Tempe. Sam’s Club is scheduled to open at the property next summer, with Nothing Bundt Cakes and Enclave Salon Suites set to open this fall. Happy Beauty Co. will also join the tenant lineup, with its opening scheduled for 2025. Vestar is the owner and landlord.
Lafayette, La. — Three new tenants have signed leases at River Marketplace, a 168,000-square-foot retail center located in Lafayette. J.Crew Factory, Sephora and lululemon are scheduled to open at the property in early 2025, occupying a 16,700-square-foot building that formerly housed Books-A-Million, which closed earlier this year. A final 3,450-square-foot space within the building remains available for lease. GBT Realty Corp. acquired River Marketplace in October 2021.
Pleasant Grove, Utah — Three new restaurant tenants have signed leases at Valley Grove, a $1.2 billion mixed-use development in Pleasant Grove. Upon full build-out, the project will comprise more than 1.5 million square feet of retail, office and hospitality space. The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, Rancherito’s and Wildside Bowls are now open at the property, occupying a total of 5,498 square feet. Reston and Falls Church, Va. — The Fresh Market has announced plans to open stores as an anchor tenant within two mixed-use developments in metropolitan Washington, D.C. The grocer will occupy approximately 27,000 square feet of space at Reston Station, a mixed-use development in Reston by Comstock Cos.; and 29,000 square feet at West Falls, a 10-acre mixed-use development in Falls Church by Hoffman & Associates. Brighton, Mich. — Two new tenants have signed leases at Green Oak Village Place in Brighton. Michigan Makers Marketplace and StretchLab will occupy 4,920 square feet and 2,259 square feet, respectively, at the property. Michigan Makers Marketplace offers goods from local craftsmen and artists, as well as scheduled craft shows. StretchLab is concept offering assisted stretching services, with a portfolio of roughly 900 facilities in North America.
