Live Oak, Texas — Floor & Décor will open an 80,000-square-foot store in Live Oak, about 18 miles from San Antonio, on Monday, March 7. The store, which will employ about 50 full-time and part-time associates, will be the Atlanta-based home improvement retailer’s third in the San Antonio area and will include a design center.

Peabody, Mass. — Boutique fitness operator Gymja Warrior has signed a 11,345-square-foot retail lease at Route One Marketplace in Peabody, 23 miles from Boston. Other tenants at the fully leased center include Bradford Carpet One, Namco, Crossfit 128 and Mass Bay Hockey Center. Don Mace of KeyPoint Partners represented the undisclosed landlord in the lease negotiations.

The Glen

Glenview, Ill. — Several new tenants have signed leases to join the lineup at The Glen Town Center, a shopping center in Glenview, about 20 miles north of Chicago. Offix, a regional coworking and business solutions company, recently signed a 10-year lease for 6,200 square feet for its seventh location. Another recent lease signing was Chuck Lager America’s Tavern, which is owned by Fabio Vivani who appeared on the show “Top Chef.” Also joining the center will be Stretch Zone, a national boutique fitness company with over 40 locations nationwide. …

Silver Spring, Md. — DSW is set to open at Ellsworth Place, a 350,000-square-foot retail and entertainment development by GBT Realty Corp. in Silver Spring, about 5 miles from Washington, D.C. The retailer will open within a 17,500-square-foot space formerly occupied by Guitar Center. Construction on the property is currently underway with DSW expected to open in March. DSW joins tenants at Ellsworth Place including Burlington, Ross Dress for Less, Marshalls, Michaels, T.J. Maxx and Dave & Buster’s.

Kansas City, Mo. — Salon Service Group, a wholesale salon product distributor for licensed cosmetologists, has opened within a 2,000-square-foot space at Red Bridge Shopping Center in Kansas City. Lane4 Property Group manages the center, which has welcomed 12 new tenants since its redevelopment in 2018. Salon Service Group operates 51 locations in 11 states, four of which are in metro Kansas City.

Burlington

Bloomingdale, Ill. — Burlington has signed a lease to open a 27,726-square-foot store at Stratford Crossing in Bloomingdale, about 27 miles from Chicago. Burlington will be the ninth anchor tenant to join the 385,000-square-foot shopping center, which is home to T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Mariano’s, PetSmart, Hobby Lobby and Planet Fitness. Joe Parrott, Sean McCourt and Riley McCarron of CBRE represented the ownership, an affiliate of Newmark Merrill Cos., in the leasing transaction. Burlington is scheduled to open later this year.

Huntsville, Ala. — PBR x Lockhart Smokehouse will open this year at Bridge Street Town Center, a mixed-use development by Bayer Properties in Huntsville. The dining concept is a partnership between the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Cowboy Bar, Lockhart Smokehouse and Live! Concepts. The 8,121-square-foot restaurant will include a bar area, indoor seating, a mechanical bull and an outdoor patio with fire pits. Cherry Hill, N.J. — Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) has announced several new retailers and restaurants set to open at Cherry Hill Mall, located about 8 miles outside of Philadelphia in southern New Jersey. Upscale seafood concept Eddie V’s will open its first restaurant in the area this fall, while Marc Cain, a women’s apparel brand based in Germany, will join the lineup of soft goods retailers with a March opening. Other upcoming additions to the tenant roster include Warby Parker and Amazon 4-Star.

Miami — Sprouts Farmers Market is set to open a 24,014-square-foot location at Grove Center, a mixed-use, transit-oriented development underway in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood. Scheduled for delivery in 2023, Grove Center will include a 23-story residential tower with 402 multifamily, workforce and co-living units; a 1,250-space public parking garage; and 170,000 square feet of retail space. The project is being developed by a joint venture between Terra and Grass River Property.
