New York City — Hobby Lobby will open a 42,768-square-foot store within a former Babies ‘R’ Us store at The Crossing, a strip center that is part of Staten Island Mall. AutoZone to Open 33,000-Square-Foot Store at Southbridge Plaza in South Austin

Austin, Texas — AutoZone has signed a lease to open a 33,000-square-foot “mega hub store” at Southbridge Plaza in Austin. The automotive retailer will operate its store, which will feature an expanded selection of parts and accessories, out of a 46,000-square-foot space that formerly housed an H-E-B grocery store. The remaining 13,000 square feet is leased to Hispanic grocer Casa Grande Supermercado. Cam Longmire and Gabe Sanchez of Weitzman represented the undisclosed landlord in the lease negotiations. Wilmington, N.C. — Floor & Décor will occupy a 51,270-square-foot single-tenant retail building located at 816 South College Road in Wilmington. The property was formerly occupied by Dick’s Sporting Goods. The building became available when Dick’s relocated to nearby Independence Mall. Atlanta — Branch Properties has signed leases for two new tenants to join Peachtree Battle Shopping Center, a 168,000-square-foot, grocery-anchored center in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. Roshambo, a new concept from local restaurant group Unsukay, is set to open in a 4,000-square-foot space this summer; and Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant Cava will open in a 2,300-square-foot space this month. Located off Peachtree Road, Peachtree Battle Shopping Center features over 50 tenants, including a 32,836-square-foot Publix, Walgreens, Ace Hardware and Baskin-Robbins.
