Freeport, Maine — Retail owner-operator Wilder Cos. has acquired Freeport Village Station, a 122,121-square-foot shopping center located in Freeport, roughly 20 miles outside Portland. L.L. Bean anchors the 3.6-acre property, which is situated across from the brand’s flagship campus. Other tenants at the center include Brooks Brothers, Old Navy, Coach, Famous Footwear, Lindt, Oakley, OshKosh B’gosh and Carter’s, Sunglasses Hut, Talbots, Sketchers and Francesca’s.

San Diego — EarthWise Pet has acquired Loyal Biscuit, a pet supply retailer offering healthy food for dogs and cats. The company has six stores operating in Bath, Belfast, Brewer, Rockport, Rockland and Waterville, Maine. A decision has not yet been made on whether the locations will be rebranded with the EarthWise name. San Diego-based EarthWise has over 150 locations open across the U.S.

Rockland, Maine — Horvath & Tremblay has brokered the $13.5 million sale of Harbor Plaza, a 169,079-square-foot shopping center located in Rockland on Maine’s southern coast. Bob Horvath and Todd Tremblay of Horvath & Tremblay represented the seller and procured the buyer, both undisclosed, in the transaction. Shaw’s Supermarket, HomeGoods and Staples anchor the center, which was 92.8 percent leased at the time of sale. Other tenants include Olympia Sports, Rent-A-Center, H&R Block, Label Shopper and The UPS Store.

Portland, Maine — Cardente Real Estate has negotiated the sale of Brighton Avenue Plaza, a 24,150-square-foot retail center located at 1041 Brighton Ave. in Portland, for approximately $3 million. Greg Perry of Cardente represented the buyer, All-American Family LLC, in the transaction. Charles Day of Porta & Co. represented the seller, 1041 Brighton Ave. LLC. The property was built in 1988.

Westbrook, Maine — Cinemark Holdings Inc. will open a 12-screen venue within the Rock Row mixed-use development in Westbrook, Maine, a western suburb of Portland. The theater, which will be built from the ground up, is scheduled to open in spring 2021.
