Miami — Two new tenants have signed leases at Miami Worldcenter, a 27-acre mixed-use project being developed in phases in downtown Miami. Beginning next year, The Container Store and and Sweet Paris Creperie & Café will occupy 15,681 and 2,330 square feet, respectively. Miami Worldcenter Associates is developing the property with CIM Group, which handles retail leasing at the project. Retail space at the development is now more than 90 percent leased. Other tenants include Chug’s Express, El Vecino Cigar & Cocktail Bar, lululemon, Sephora, Sports & Social and Club Studio.

Oklahoma City — Three new tenants have signed leases at OAK, a 20-acre mixed-use project currently underway in Oklahoma City. Williams Sonoma, Tommy Bahama and Pottery Barn will occupy 5,500; 8,000; and 12,420 square feet, respectively. Upon completion, which is scheduled for September 2024, Phase I of the development will feature 135,000 square feet of retail, in addition to a hotel and residential units. Veritas Development, with co-investor the Dobson family, is the developer and landlord.
Cooper City, Fla. — Three tenants have opened at The Shoppes at Monterra Commons, a 153,618-square-foot mixed use property in Cooper City. Culver’s, First Watch and The Learning Experience now occupy 4,300; 3,700; and 10,000 square feet at the development, which was completed in August. Cali Coffee, Playa Bowls, Gyromania, Oaxaka, Tide Cleaners, Blueprint Cookies, Jonari Dental, Kami Nail House, Huey Magoos and AA Mint have also signed leases totaling 16,330 square feet at the property. Diversified Realty Development is the landlord and developer.
Baltimore — Restaurateur Pinky Cole will open two food-and-beverage concepts, Slutty Vegan and Bar Vegan, at Baltimore Peninsula, a $5 billion mixed-use redevelopment project currently underway in Baltimore. Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2024, the plant-based restaurants are expected to create more than 100 new jobs. Boston — Lendlease has signed leases with three food-and-beverage concepts at Clippership Wharf, a mixed-use residential development situated on a seven acres in Boston. Italian restaurant Mida and barbecue concept The Smoke Shop both opened restaurants at the property this summer, occupying 2,900 and 4,000 square feet, respectively. Café Iterum also opened at the development in late 2021, leasing a 1,100-square-foot space and an additional 1,400-square-foot patio. The retail space at the property is now fully occupied.
Cedar Park, Texas — Scheels, an employee-owned sporting goods retailer based in Fargo, North Dakota, plans to open a 240,000-square-foot store in Cedar Park, a northern suburb of Austin. The store will be the retailer’s second “All Sports” location to open in Texas, joining a store at Grandscape in The Colony that opened in 2020. Chick-fil-A opened at the property in May, and Famous Toastery is planning to open in the second half of 2024, within an outparcel behind the development’s Shop Building I. H.T.
