Oxford, Mich. — Clean Hub Car Wash has purchased a 4,700-square-foot retail building at 153 S. Washington St. in Oxford, about 40 miles north of Detroit. Barry Landau of Dominion Real Estate Advisors LLC represented the seller, DJG Properties LLC. Jordan Jabbori of CMP Real Estate Group represented Clean Hub Car Wash, which currently operates out of Sterling Heights and has three new locations scheduled to open in the near future.

Lansing, Mich. — Gillespie Group has unveiled plans to redevelop a former Sears Roebuck location at 3131 E. Michigan Ave. in Lansing. The property is being marketed as ROECO, a retail and entertainment destination. Specific redevelopment plans have yet to be finalized. The name ROECO is a nod to Sears Roebuck, which occupied the property for 66 years. Most recently, Sparrow Health System utilized the site for COVID testing. Athleta, F45 Training and US Mattress are all scheduled to open this summer. Athleta will occupy 4,400 square feet. F45 will occupy 2,838 square feet. US Mattress will lease 3,000 square feet. Green Oak Village Place is home to more than 50 retailers and restaurants. A joint venture between REDICO and Lormax Stern Development Co. developed the property.

The 72,000-square-foot shopping center was fully leased at the time of sale to tenants such as Jo-Ann, Biggby Coffee, Xfinity, Supercuts, Tropical Smoothie Café, The UPS Store and LA Insurance. Jodi Milks of NAI Wisinski represented the seller, which purchased the center in 2013 following a foreclosure and made property improvements. NAI Wisinski will handle property management and leasing for the new owner.

The mall, which opened in 1968, spans roughly 1.5 million square feet and is home to Macy’s, J.C. Penney and a former Sears store, which MKiezi acquired last year.
