Hines, Columbia Add Four Retailers to Tenant Lineup at 69-Acre Fenton Development in Cary, North Carolina

Cary, N.C. — Hines and Columbia Development have signed four new tenants at Fenton, a 69-acre mixed-use project currently under construction in Cary. Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Athleta and Von Kekel Aveda Lifestyle Salon Spa are set to open in April 2022. Williams Sonoma will occupy a 5,504-square-foot space; Pottery Barn is set to open a 13,910-square-foot store; and Athleta will occupy a 3,825-square-foot space. Raleigh, N.C. — A joint venture between SLI Capital and Regent Partners has acquired 15 parcels totaling approximately 10 acres in Raleigh for the second phase of the East End Market mixed-use development. Seven undisclosed entities sold the 15 parcels to the joint venture for a total of approximately $18 million. Located on Whitaker Mill Road between Wake Forest Road and Atlantic Avenue, East End Market is a mixed-use, food and beverage destination that will offer a collection of restaurants, apartments, shops and office spaces. Concord, N.C. — Thompson Thrift Retail Group has sold an 11,000-square-foot, multi-tenant retail building in Concord to an undisclosed private buyer from California. The building, which is located at 3050 Derita Road, is the second of four lots to be developed within Thompson Thrift’s 7.5-acre Shops on Derita retail development. The building was fully leased at the time of sale to tenants including Supercuts, Smoothie King, Chicago’s Pizza with a Twist, Wingstop and Cinnaholic. Avison Young Secures $40 Million Financing for Midtown Exchange Project in Raleigh

Raleigh, N.C. — Avison Young has secured a $40 million senior loan to fund the pre-development activities and horizontal infrastructure construction for Midtown Exchange, a $1 billion mixed-use development underway in Raleigh. The developer of Midtown Exchange, Dewitt Carolinas, received the funding for the 353,000-square-foot office tower.
