Scranton, Pa. — Dick’s Sporting Goods has opened a 90,000-square-foot House of Sport store at Viewmont Mall in Scranton. Dick’s House of Sport, which opened at the property earlier this month, is an experiential concept that offers putting greens, rock walls, batting cages and turf baseball fields, along with sports-related apparel and equipment for sale. Albany, Ga. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $2.3 million sale of a 29,977-square-foot property located in Albany. Office Depot occupies 19,181 square feet of the building, which was constructed in 1997, on a net-lease basis. Mitch Grant and Nicholas Kanich of Marcus & Millichap brokered the transaction on behalf of the seller, an undisclosed private investor. Robby Pfeiffer of Marcus & Millichap secured and represented the buyer, a limited liability company.
Dublin, Calif. —Five Below will open a 10,000-square-foot store in Dublin. Scheduled to open this fall, the store will be situated within Hacienda Crossings, a 262,273-square-foot shopping center. Other tenants at the property include TJ Maxx, Barons Jewelers, Ulta Beauty, The World of Beer and Five Guys Burgers.
Meridian, Idaho — Wood Investments Cos. has secured refinancing totaling $39.1 million for two shopping centers located in Meridian, roughly 11 miles outside Boise. The first shopping center, Gateway Marketplace, is leased to tenants including a 42,212-square-foot PGA Tour Superstore, Trader Joe’s, Mecca Gym, Land Ocean, Chili’s, Le Peep, Mathnasium and Orange Theory Fitness. Wood acquired the property in 2021. Tim Winton of Keystone Mortgage Corp. arranged a $16.5 million permanent loan through Voya Investment Management for the 135,732-square-foot property. Cumming, Ga. — Atlantic Capital Partners has brokered the $17.5 million sale of Sharon Greens, a Kroger-anchored shopping center located in Cumming, a northern suburb of Atlanta. Justin Smith, Fred Victor, Chris Peterson, Sam Koonce and Danielle Donovan of Atlantic Capital Partners represented the institutional seller and secured the buyer. Built in 2001, Sharon Greens spans 98,301 square feet and was 98 percent leased at the time of sale to 21 tenants, including Kroger, Chase Bank and Heartland Dental.
Sacramento, Calif. — Hanley Investment Group has brokered the $5 million sale of a single-tenant property located in Sacramento. Chipotle Mexican Grill occupies the 2,347-square-foot building, which is situated within The Quad District, a new mixed-use development, on a triple-net lease. Bill Asher and Jeff Lefko represented the developer and seller, Chase Partners LTD. KDC constructed the property, which was designed by Vermeltfoort Architects. A California-based buyer purchased the property.

Sales and marketing of the development’s two 44-story residential towers totaling 268 for-sale residences will commence this fall. New York City — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $6.6 million sale of a 17,734-square-foot retail property on Staten Island that is net leased to Pep Boys. The automotive parts retailer has occupied the space at 1941 Forest Ave. for more than 15 years, and the property can support about 30,000 square feet of new development. Scott Plasky of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller and procured the buyer, both of which were private investors that requested anonymity, in the transaction.
Tempe, Ariz. — Arizona State University (ASU) and Catellus Development Corp. are underway on Novus Place, the 275,000-square-foot retail and entertainment portion of the 4.5 million-square-foot mixed-use Novus Innovation Corridor in Tempe. Located adjacent to ASU’s Tempe campus, the multi-phase project is being developed through a public-private partnership between the university and development firm. Oklahoma City — Veritas Development has topped out Phase I of OAK, a 20-acre mixed-use development underway in Oklahoma City. The first phase of the project includes 135,000 square feet of retail space, as well as a 132-room boutique hotel and 320 apartment units.
