Irving, Texas — STRIVE has arranged the sale of Irvingate Center, a 29,962-square-foot retail center located in Irving, roughly 14 miles outside Dallas. The property was 86 percent leased at the time of sale. Hudson Lambert and Jason Vitorino of STRIVE represented the Dallas-based seller and procured the buyer, a California-based investor, in the transaction.

Hutto, Texas — EVO Entertainment Group has signed a 53,300-square-foot lease at Townwest Commons in Hutto, with plans to open a cinema, bowling and entertainment venue at the property in 2024. Nathan Nickerson of Common Ground represented the tenant in the leasing negotiations and secured an incentives package with the City of Hutto. Josh Friedlander and David Meyers represented the landlord, NewQuest Properties, on an internal basis.
Cherry Hill, N.J. — Two new tenants have opened at Cherry Hill Mall, a PREIT shopping center located in Cherry Hill. Earlier this month, seafood restaurant Eddie V’s opened at the property, and clothing retailer Psycho Bunny also recently opened a store within the mall. Additionally, the H&M, Garage and Aldo stores at the mall have been remodeled, and Brooks Brothers and UNIQLO are scheduled to join the tenant roster this summer, with Oak & Fort expected to open a store at the property later this year.
Nashville, Tenn. — The Cordish Cos. has revealed plans for Nashville Live!, an adaptive reuse of the historic George Jones building in Downtown Nashville. Upon completion, the property will offer 50,000 square feet of dining and entertainment space. Upon completion, the property will feature 363 apartment units and 52,619 square feet of retail space. Nadel Architecture + Planning is the architect for the project, the first phase of which was recently completed.
Chicago — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $5.2 million sale of Kedzie Plaza, a retail center totaling 73,876 square feet in Chicago. Tenants at the property include Dunkin’ Donuts, Metro by T-Mobile, Subway, Domino’s and Sally Beauty. Adrian Mendoza, Austin Weisenbeck and Sean Sharko of Marcus & Millichap represented the buyer, a local private investor.

Rocky Mount, N.C. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged $11.8 million sale of Sutter’s Creek Plaza, a 210,482-square-foot retail center located in Rocky Mount. Tenants at the property include Big Lots, Tractor Supply Co., Jo-Ann Fabrics and Harbor Freight Tools. French Traver and Kodi Traver of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a Florida-based private investor, in the transaction. Ben Yelm assisted in closing the sale as the North Carolina broker of record. A New York-based private investor acquired the center.
