Cincinnati — Cincinnati-based Phillips Edison Grocery Center REIT II has acquired four grocery-anchored shopping centers totaling 305,422 square feet in Colorado, Florida and California.
Kennesaw, Ga. — Preferred Apartment Communities Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary New Market Properties LLC, has acquired Wade Green Village in Kennesaw, roughly 25 miles outside of Atlanta.
Lakewood, Colo. — Kensington Real Estate Group has sold Fairfield Commons, a 144,000-square-foot shopping center located in Lakewood, to an affiliate of Phillips Edison Group for $34.28 million.
Hyattsville, Md. — KLNB Retail has arranged the $20.5 million sale of The Shoppes at Arts District, a 36,000-square-foot shopping center located at 5331 and 5501 Baltimore Ave. in downtown Hyattsville, roughly two miles outside of Washington, D.C.
Jacksonville, Fla. — Core Property Capital has acquired a 62.9-acre site across the street from St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville for the development of Town Center Promenade.

New York City — New York City-based Rouse Properties Inc. (NYSE: RSE) has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management Inc. for $18.25 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $2.8 billion.
Culver City, Calif. — Niki Properties has sold a single-tenant, 32,873-square-foot building fully leased to Sprouts Farmers Market in Culver City to an undisclosed buyer for $23.5 million.
New York City — Triangle Equities has broken ground on Lighthouse Point, a $200 million mixed-used project on the St. George waterfront in Staten Island.
