Stan Johnson Arranges $22.2 Million Sale of Oakbrook Station Shopping Center in Metro Charleston

Summerville, S.C. — Stan Johnson Co. has arranged the $22.2 million sale of Oakbrook Station Shopping Center, a 138,166-square-foot, Lowes Food-anchored retail center in Summerville. The property was fully occupied at the time of sale to tenants including Lowes Food, Dollar Tree, OneMain Financial, State Farm Insurance and ATI Physical Therapy. Oakbrook Station is located at 10070 Dorchester Road, 21 miles northwest of downtown Charleston. Maggie Holmes, Joey Odom, Mike Sladich, and Mollie Alteri exclusively represented the seller, Charleston-based developer RealtyLink, in the transaction. Big V Acquires 322,428-Square-Foot Shopping Center in North Charleston

North Charleston, S.C. — Big V Property Group has acquired Promenade at Northwoods, a 322,428-square-foot shopping center in North Charleston. Hobby Lobby, Gander Outdoors and Ollie’s Bargain Outlet anchor the center, which was 85 percent leased at the time of sale. Other tenants include Boot Barn, Party City, Crunch Fitness, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Landmark Financial and Once Upon a Child. Promenade at Northwoods is located off Interstate 26, across from Northwoods Mall and 15 miles north of downtown Charleston. The seller and sales price were not disclosed.

EA Riverside Sells New Grocery-Anchored Shopping Center in Upstate South Carolina for $12 Million

Greer, S.C. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $12 million sale of Riverside Crossing, a 58,358-square-foot, Lowes Foods-anchored shopping center in Greer. Other tenants include Smoothie King, Great Clips, Family Dentistry at Riverside Crossing, CT Nails and Madi Boutique. EA Riverside LLC built the center in 2017 and sold it to JohnCo LP, a private family office. Zach Taylor, Brian Munn and Don McMinn of Marcus & Millichap’s Taylor McMinn Retail Group represented the seller in the transaction.

Bluffton, S.C. — Boca Raton, Florida-based Halvorsen Holdings is planning to develop May River Crossing, a 70,200-square-foot, Publix-anchored shopping center in Bluffton, 16 miles north of downtown Savannah and 16 miles west of Hilton Head Island. Greenville, S.C. — Topgolf opened its 50th venue in the U.S. this past Friday in Greenville, South Carolina. The three-tier, 55,000-square-foot driving range and bar is located at 201 Clifton Court, 10 miles from downtown Greenville and directly off Interstate 85. The new Topgolf features a chef-driven menu, top-shelf drinks, big screen TVs, flexible private event spaces and music in climate-controlled hitting bays. Marcus & Millichap Arranges $7.1 Million Sale of Shopping Center in Aiken, South Carolina

Aiken, S.C. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $7.1 million sale of Aiken Exchange, a 101,488-square-foot shopping center in Aiken that is shadow-anchored by Target. Built in 2002 and located 20 miles northeast of downtown Augusta, the property is anchored by PetSmart and Planet Fitness. Zach Taylor and Taylor McMinn of Marcus & Millichap’s Taylor McMinn Retail Group represented the seller, Lamar Cos., in the transaction. Marc Strauss, also of Marcus & Millichap, represented the buyer, Aiken Exchange Plaza LLC. The buyer purchased the shopping center in a 1031 exchange.

Publix to Open GreenWise Market in Lexington, South Carolina

Lexington, S.C. — Publix Super Markets Inc. will open a GreenWise Market store at Lexington Marketplace in Lexington, 10 miles west of downtown Columbia. GreenWise will offer a large variety of organic, specialty and traditional items. GreenWise joins Ulta Beauty, Mod Pizza, Smoothie King and Fit Body Boot Camp at the 135,000-square-foot, 80 percent-leased retail center.
