Greenville, S.C. — Sprouts Farmers Market will open a 25,000-square-foot store at North Hills Shopping Center in Greenville. Originally built in 1975, the retail center is currently undergoing renovations including updates to facades, landscaping, patios, storefronts and parking lot repairs. Construction of the Sprouts is scheduled to begin this year, with the opening planned for 2024. This marks the second location for the brand in the Greenville market. Greenville, S.C. — Whole Foods Market has signed on to anchor Greenville County Square, a $1 billion mixed-use redevelopment project in downtown Greenville. RocaPoint Partners is the developer behind the 3.5 million-square-foot live-work-play destination, which will modernize and activate 40 acres along University Ridge. Columbia, S.C. — NAI Columbia has sold a 40,883-square-foot retail center located in Columbia’s NOMA District. Dubbed the “Ultra Hub,” a 30,000-square-foot O’Reilly Auto Parts store, warehouse and distribution center anchors the property. North Main Kidney Center and TitleMax are also tenants at the shopping center. NAI Columbia’s development team purchased the property, formerly home to a BI-LO grocery store, in December 2021 before making extensive renovations. Hartsville, S.C. — A 14,450-square-foot retail property located in Hartsville has traded hands in a $5 million sale. The store is net-leased to Walgreens, which has a little less than 11 years remaining on the lease, as well as 50 one-year extension options. Bluffton, S.C. — JLL Capital Markets has brokered the sale of a 118,440-square-foot shopping center located in Bluffton, five miles from Hilton Head Island. Jim Hamilton, Brad Buchanan, Tom Kolarczyk and Andrew Kahn of JLL represented the seller, Jaz Development LLC, in the $25.2 million transaction. Anchored by Aldi, PGA TOUR Superstore and Hobby Lobby, Bluffton Shopping Center was 99 percent leased at the time of sale.
