Woodbridge, Va. — A joint venture between Ideal Realty Group, Rock Creek Property Group and The Sigmund Cos. has purchased a portfolio of four regional shopping centers in Woodbridge for $52.8 million. The properties total 470,000 square feet and include Center Plaza, Mapledale Plaza, Forestdale Plaza and Glendale Plaza, all of which are located within three miles of each other along Dale Boulevard. Chester, Va. — Colliers has brokered the $5.4 million sale of two outparcels at Bermuda Square, a shopping center located in the Richmond suburb of Chester. The properties include a multi-tenant space leased to Aspen Dental and Sleep Number and a single-tenant property occupied by Chipotle Mexican Grill. Separate buyers acquired the properties for $4 million and $1.4 million, respectively. Michael Brewster and Brad Peterson of Colliers represented the undisclosed seller in the transactions, with assistance from Jay O’Donnell and Jeff Fritz of Colliers. 

Great Falls, Va. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $5.2 million sale of Seneca Corner, a 5,760-square-foot shopping center located in Great Falls, roughly 20 miles outside Washington, D.C. Tenants at the fully leased property include Jersey Mike’s, Domino’s and Five Guys. Dean Zang, David Crotts and Josh Ein of Marcus & Millichap arranged the sale on behalf of the seller, an entity related to the Republic Family of Cos. 

Danville, Va. — JLL Capital Markets has arranged the sale of Coleman Marketplace, a 202,578-square-foot shopping center located in Danville. Built in 2008, the property was 88 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants including Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less, Old Navy, Michaels, Burkes Outlet, Bath & Body Works and Rack Room Shoes. Newport News, Va. — Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Capital Markets Group has brokered the $8.2 million sale of Turnberry Crossing, a 53,775-square-foot retail center located in Newport News. Goodwill anchors the property, which was 95 percent leased to 17 tenants at the time of sale. Other tenants include Hertz, Papa John’s and DaaBIN Store. Catharine Spangler of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer arranged the transaction on behalf of the seller, Stavins & Axelrod. Prudent Growth Partners acquired the property.
