Moorpark, Calif. – Construction has been completed on Nadel Architects’ exterior redesign of Moorpark Town Center in Southern California’s Ventura County. The 140,000-square-foot retail center was originally built in 1985 and is owned by Sunbelt Enterprises LLC. Nadel was in charge of the redevelopment project through conceptual design, which started in November of 2011, to its completion in May.
Nadel’s redesign included a new exterior façade, upgraded architectural components and landscaping. The renovation involved the incorporation of the existing canopy structures into a design scheme of tower elements in varying heights, cornice detailing and trellises. Nadel also added an al fresco plaza covered by open trellises to complete the village-inspired atmosphere.
Moorpark Town Center, is anchored by Ralphs and includes national retailers such as CVS/pharmacy, Chase, Papa John’s, Sherwin-Williams, Round Table Pizza and Taco Bell.
