Marketplace at Tech Center Pre-Leases First-to-Market Tenants

Newport News, Va. – The project is now 70 percent pre-leased.

Newport News, Va. – Marketplace at Tech Center, the retail component of the $250 million mixed-use development Tech Center at Oyster Point, has added several first-to-market retailers to its tenant mix. These retailers include, with the exception of those that have outlet stores in Williamsburg, Whole Foods, DSW Shoe Warehouse, PF Chang’s China Bistro, OshKosh B’gosh and Zoe’s Kitchen. Additional retailers include Stein Mart, Massage Envy, Starbucks and Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches. Tech Center at Oyster Point is situated on 100 acres in Newport News and will open July 2015. The project will include 230,000 square feet of retail, 290 luxury apartment homes and 30,000 square feet of office space.
