Houston — NewQuest Properties is set to develop Stableside at Falcon Landing, a $75 million community lifestyle center located on the last remaining commercial tract of the late W.K. “Buck” King’s 704-acre Arabian horse farm in Houston.
A 102,473-square-foot Kroger Signature store will anchor the first phase of the center. Phase I will also include 28,700 square feet of inline retail space, a 7,350-square-foot multi-tenant building and four pad sites. Phase II of the project will feature a 39,000-square-foot theater and an oversized shared green space with patio seating. Mick Granlund of Dallas-based O’Brien & Associates Inc. is the lead architect on the project, which is set to open in December 2016.
