Academy Sports + Outdoors to Backfill Former Macy’s Store at Fairview Town Center in Texas

Fairview, Texas — Academy Sports + Outdoors has signed a lease to backfill the former 130,000-square-foot Macy’s space at Fairview Town Center, a 921,075-square-foot lifestyle center located in Fairview, roughly 30 miles north of downtown Dallas. Academy’s new store, which is currently being remodeled, will span 65,400 square feet and is expected to open by this summer. Thomas Glendenning of SHOP Cos. arranged the lease on behalf of the ownership of Fairview Town Center.

Additional tenants at Fairview Town Center, which was built in 2009, include Whole Foods Market, JCPenney, Dillard’s, Jos. A. Bank, Sleep Number, Hotworx, LensCrafters and BoomerJack’s Bar & Grill.
