Pigeon Forge, Tenn. — Kingsmen Xperience and Bright Play have announced plans for NERF Action-Xperience (NAX), an entertainment center that will total more than 29,000 square feet in Pigeon Forge. Scheduled to open next fall, the attraction will feature blaster battle zones, sports challenges and an obstacle course, as well as a food and beverage area and retail store. This marks the second location, with the first NAX center in New Jersey. NERF is a Hasbro brand.

Henderson, Nev. — Diversified Partners is underway on the construction of a 2,573-square-foot single-tenant building located in Henderson, roughly 16 miles outside Las Vegas. Scheduled for completion later this month, the property will be occupied by Starbucks Coffee and feature a 900-square-foot outdoor patio space. The project team includes Kitrell Jenson Contractors and RKAA Architects.
St. Johns County, Fla. — PEBB Enterprises and Falcone Group have signed three new tenants to the retail and restaurant space at Beachwalk, a mixed-use project currently underway in St. Johns County. Starbucks Coffee, Fancy Sushi and Playa Bowls will occupy 2,500, 1,500 and 1,200 square feet, respectively. The new leases bring the retail and restaurant space at the development, which totals 170,000 square feet, to 55 percent occupancy. Kansas City, Mo. — Kansas City-based Chicken N Pickle has announced plans to open seven new locations by the first quarter of 2025. Plans include locations in St. Charles, Missouri; Allen, Texas; Fishers, Indiana; Henderson, Nevada; Webster, Texas; Thornton, Colorado; and Parker, Colorado. Chicken N Pickle outposts typically comprise 32,000 square feet and feature a restaurant, sports bar, pickleball courts and yard games. The new openings will nearly double the brand’s footprint, which currently includes eight locations.
Naples, Fla. — Barron Collier is underway on the construction of a 21,000-square-foot retail center in Naples. Situated within the developer’s Ave Maria master-planned community, the development is scheduled for completion next summer. Tenants at the property will include NCH Immediate Care Center, Sunshine Ace Hardware, Dunkin’ Donuts, LEDO Pizza and Cold Stone Creamery.
Queen Creek, Ariz. — Sprouts Farmers Market has opened a 50,000-square-foot store at Vineyard Towne Center, a 23-acre retail development currently underway by Vestar in the Phoenix suburb of Queen Creek. Sprouts is the anchor tenant of Phase I of the project. A 145,000-square-foot Target will open in April 2025 and anchor the development’s Phase II. Pigeon Forge, Tenn. — BrightColors LLC And partner Kingsmen Xperience Inc. have announced plans with Crayola to open a 30,000-square-foot Crayola Experience in Pigeon Forge. Upon completion, the indoor family entertainment center will feature 20 attractions and a retail store. The Pigeon Forge location marks the sixth attraction for the brand, which has opened others in Pennsylvania, Florida, Minnesota, Texas and Arizona. Four additional Crayola Experience locations will open over the next five years, the locations of which were not disclosed.
Chambersburg, Pa. — Namdar Realty Group and the Franklin County Area Development Corp. (FCADC) have announced plans for the redevelopment of Chambersburg Mall, a 127-acre property located in Chambersburg. Plans include the development of a mixed-use property at the site. “The focus remains on creating a vibrant and versatile development that caters to the evolving needs of the community,” says Dan Dilmanian, chief operating officer of Namdar, which has engaged with the FCADC for seven years to explore possibilities for the redevelopment.
Port St. Lucie, Fla. — PEBB Enterprises and Banyan Development have started construction on the Shoppes @ the Heart of Tradition, a 71,000-square-foot retail project situated within the master-planned Tradition community in Port St. Lucie. A 19,231-square-foot Aldi will anchor the development, which is scheduled for completion next summer, when tenant buildouts will begin. Other tenants will include Kyle G’s Amore Chop House, Port Tradition, Tomalty Dental, Le Bistro de Paris, Picasso Nails and Rita’s Ice.
