Lincoln Property Co. Signs Three Restaurants to Echo Street West Mixed-Use Project in Atlanta

Atlanta — Lincoln Property Co. has signed three restaurants to Echo Street West, its 19-acre mixed-use project currently underway in Atlanta’s Westside. Food-and-beverage concepts El Gordo Taqueria by Fuego Tortilla, Fresh Squeezed Mini Bar and Le Macaron will occupy 2,430; 1,917; and 895 square feet, respectively. Situated on The Atlanta Beltline Westside Connector, Echo Street West is being constructed in phases, with the initial development comprising 300,000 square feet of creative office space; 50,000 square feet of retail space; 292 residential units; and 3.4 acres of outdoor entertainment and greenspace. Buc-ee’s to Develop 75,000-Square-Foot Super Center in Virginia

Mt. Crawford, Va. — An entity doing business as Buc-ee’s Mt. Crawford LLC has purchased 21.3 acres located on Frieden’s Church Road in Mt. Crawford for the development of a Buc-ee’s Super Center at the site. Nathan Shor and Larry Agnew represented the buyer in the $6.6 million transaction. Upon completion, the property will feature 75,000 square feet of retail space, as well as 120 fueling positions, electric vehicle chargers and parking for more than 650 cars. This will mark the second location in the state for the brand.

Tiger Woods, Justin Timberlake Open 22,000-Square-Foot Eatertainment Concept in New York City

New York City — Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake, in partnership with NEXUS Luxury Collection and 8AM Golf, have opened a 22,000-square-foot sports and entertainment bar between Bryant Park and Grand Central Station in New York City. Dubbed T-Squared Social, the venue offers Full Swing golf simulators, duckpin bowling, darts and more than 35 televisions for sports-watching, as well as food and beverages. ForrestPerkins designed the space, which features 24-foot open ceilings, a 32-foot bar, dining and lounge areas and a private event room.

Rosenberg, Texas — The Signorelli Co. has announced plans for Phase I of Austin Point, a 4,700-acre master-planned community located roughly 30 miles southwest of Houston in Rosenberg.  Upon completion, the development will feature 14,000 homes and 15 million square feet of multifamily, office, medical, retail and hospitality space. Jacksonville, Fla. — Gateway Jax has acquired 22 acres within Jacksonville’s downtown area to develop a $2 billion mixed-use project aimed at revitalizing the city’s urban core. The first phase of the project is called the Pearl Street District. Plans for Pearl Street District include three buildings in the North Core area of Jacksonville’s downtown, which will offer more than 1,000 multifamily units and 120,000 square feet of grocery-anchored retail space. Crush Yard to Open Two Pickleball Clubs Totaling 90,000 Square Feet in Florida, South Carolina

Orlando, Fla. and Mount Pleasant, S.C. — Crush Yard will open two new pickleball clubs in Florida and South Carolina. Opening later this month, the first venue will total 40,000 square feet in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. In November, a 50,000-square-foot facility will open in Orlando, occupying a former Bed Bath and Beyond building. The clubs will feature pickleball courts, as well as access to coaches. The South Carolina Crush Yard will also feature coffee from One Nation Coffee and beer from Holy City Brewing.
