Reston and Falls Church, Va. — The Fresh Market has announced plans to open stores as an anchor tenant within two mixed-use developments in metropolitan Washington, D.C. The grocer will occupy approximately 27,000 square feet of space at Reston Station, a mixed-use development in Reston by Comstock Cos.; and 29,000 square feet at West Falls, a 10-acre mixed-use development in Falls Church by Hoffman & Associates. Brighton, Mich. — Two new tenants have signed leases at Green Oak Village Place in Brighton. Michigan Makers Marketplace and StretchLab will occupy 4,920 square feet and 2,259 square feet, respectively, at the property. Michigan Makers Marketplace offers goods from local craftsmen and artists, as well as scheduled craft shows. StretchLab is concept offering assisted stretching services, with a portfolio of roughly 900 facilities in North America.

Hobby Lobby, Five Below and Rack Room Shoes have opened stores at the property, which is anchored by T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods. Additionally, Ross Dress for Less, PetSmart, Ulta Beauty, Old Navy, ALDI, Mattress Firm, Surcheros, Panda Express, Americas Best and Chicken Salad Chick have signed leases at the center. New York City — Rooftop Hospitality Group has signed a 12-year lease extension at 230 Fifth Ave. in New York City, where it occupies the roof of the New York Market Center building with its 230 Fifth Avenue Rooftop Bar concept. Comprising 32,050 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, the bar originally opened in 2006. GFP Real Estate, which has owned the property since 1958, is the landlord. Jane Gural-Senders, David Kaye and Harvey Richer represented the landlord in the lease negotiations on an in-house basis.

Lovesac, Golf Lounge 18 and Fresh & Co. will occupy 28,000; 9,000; and 3,000 square feet, respectively. Bloomfield Hills, Mich. — Michigan-based developer and owner Lormax Stern has signed leases totaling 84,819 square feet with four new tenants at three of its shopping centers. Beginning this fall, Ross Dress for Less will occupy 25,000 square feet at Bay Mall in Petoskey, Michigan. Additionally, Tike Ace Hardware and PGA TOUR Superstore have signed leases at The Fountains in Overland Park, Kansas. The retailers will occupy 14,291 and 29,728 square feet, respectively. Also in Kansas, DSW will open a 15,800-square-foot store this winter at Quivira 95 in Lenexa.

Huntington Station, N.Y. — Whole Foods Market will open a new, 43,916-square-foot store at Huntington Shopping Center in Huntington Station. Scheduled to open next month, the store will feature more than 2,000 local items from the Northeast, a bakery, specialty cheese department and full meat and seafood counters. Federal Realty is the landlord of the shopping center.
