Yardville, N.J. — R.J. Brunelli & Co. has negotiated a 25,067-square-foot retail lease for fitness chain Jersey Strong in Yardville, a southeastern suburb of Trenton. The fitness center will be located within Dover Park Plaza, a 56,000-square-foot retail center at 1-23 Sunnybrae Blvd. Other tenants include a CVS pharmacy and several restaurants. Robert Kwiatkowski of R.J. Brunelli represented Jersey Strong in the lease negotiations. Danielle Brunelli and Peter Miller, also with R.J. Brunelli, represented the landlord.

Tampa, Fla. — Bromley Cos. has signed Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. to a 1,500-square-foot lease within Midtown Tampa. The coffeehouse, which has been headquartered in Tampa since 1984, will open the flagship location near Midtown Commons, a central greenspace within the mixed-use project. Joffrey’s will serve a wide variety of coffee and tea beverage options including espresso, lattes, cold brew, nitro cold brew, ready-to-drink offerings, as well as premium iced and hot teas. Sumter, S.C. — Colliers International has arranged the $13.9 million sale-leaseback of a triple-net leased, Walmart Neighborhood Market-occupied property in Sumter. Hutton Development developed and sold the 41,990-square-foot building, which is situated at 343 Pinewood Road, three miles south of downtown Sumter and 40 miles east of downtown Columbia. Walmart signed a new 13-year lease with the new owner, an undisclosed private investor based in Florida completing a 1031 exchange. Jereme Snyder of Colliers represented the seller in the transaction.

Altamonte Springs, Fla. — SRS Real Estate Partners’ National Net Lease Group has arranged the sale of a freestanding retail property in Altamonte Springs leased to Chuck E. Cheese. The seller, Irving, Texas-based CEC Entertainment, will lease back the property on a newly signed, 20-year lease. The property is situated at 541 W. State Road 436, 10 miles north of downtown Orlando. Michael Walseth of SRS represented the seller and buyer, a private Florida-based investor, in the sale-leaseback transaction. Ann Arbor, Mich. — Beyond Juice Juicery + Eatery will open its 15th Southeast Michigan location at the new Uptown Ann Arbor project in Ann Arbor. Beztak Properties is the project developer. Beyond Juice will occupy 1,600 square feet. Billy Gershensen of the Gershenson Group represented Beyond Juice in the lease transaction. Michael Murphy, Vicki Gutowski and Larry Siedell of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented Beztak. Upon completion, Uptown will be home to 250 townhomes and luxury lofts as well as 17,220 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

Gainesville, Fla. — Butler Enterprises has signed Anthropologie to an 8,750-square-foot lease within Butler Town Center in Gainesville. Butler expects the space to be ready by this fall. The store will be situated off Archer Road across from The Cheesecake Factory. Anthropologie has more than 200 stores in the United States, Canada and Europe, and, according to its website, caters to “sophisticated and contemporary women aged 28 to 45.” The retailer sells women’s apparel and accessories, home décor, furniture and gifts. Chicago — Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea has signed a 2,623-square-foot retail lease at 306 West Erie, an office development currently under construction in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The location will serve as the company’s seventh coffee shop in the Chicago area. The building is the first phase of Verso, a three-building office redevelopment undertaken by North Wells Capital and Urban Innovations. Renovation work began in late 2019 to expand and modernize the property. JLL is the leasing agent for 306 West Erie and the entire Verso portfolio.

Sterling Heights, Mich. — Gerdom Realty & Investment has negotiated two retail leases at Brookside Shopping Center in Sterling Heights. Rehab Without Walls outpatient clinic leased a 3,200-square-foot space and Luma’s Fashion and Alteration leased 1,600 square feet. Only one 10,220-square-foot space remains available for lease at the Planet Fitness-anchored center. Michael Murphy and Tjader Gerdom of Gerdom represented the undisclosed landlord in the new leases.
