Novi, Mich. — Burlington has signed a 25,755-square-foot retail lease to open a new store at West Oaks shopping center in Novi, approximately 30 miles northwest of Detroit. Anchor tenants at West Oaks include Kohl’s, Bob’s Furniture and Gardner White.
Rochester Hills, Mich. — Fitness concept Crossfit Maven has signed a 17,123-square-foot lease at Winchester Center in Rochester Hills, approximately 30 miles outside of Detroit. Winchester Center, anchored by Dick’s Sporting Goods, Marshall’s and Burlington, is located on Rochester Road just south of Avon Road.
Sterling Heights, Mich. — Millennial Collection, a trading card and gaming store, has signed a lease for 1,600 square feet at Brookside Shopping Center in Sterling Heights, a suburb of Detroit. Oxford, Mich. — Clean Hub Car Wash has purchased a 4,700-square-foot retail building at 153 S. Washington St. in Oxford, about 40 miles north of Detroit. Barry Landau of Dominion Real Estate Advisors LLC represented the seller, DJG Properties LLC. Jordan Jabbori of CMP Real Estate Group represented Clean Hub Car Wash, which currently operates out of Sterling Heights and has three new locations scheduled to open in the near future.
Lansing, Mich. — Gillespie Group has unveiled plans to redevelop a former Sears Roebuck location at 3131 E. Michigan Ave. in Lansing. The property is being marketed as ROECO, a retail and entertainment destination. Specific redevelopment plans have yet to be finalized. The name ROECO is a nod to Sears Roebuck, which occupied the property for 66 years. Most recently, Sparrow Health System utilized the site for COVID testing. Brighton, Mich. — Three new tenants have signed leases to open at Green Oak Village Place in Brighton, about 45 miles northwest of Detroit. Athleta, F45 Training and US Mattress are all scheduled to open this summer. Athleta will occupy 4,400 square feet. F45 will occupy 2,838 square feet. US Mattress will lease 3,000 square feet. Green Oak Village Place is home to more than 50 retailers and restaurants. A joint venture between REDICO and Lormax Stern Development Co. developed the property.
