Mill Valley, Calif. — Four Corners Property Trust (FCPT) has purchased 20 restaurant properties occupied by Bloomin’ Brands concepts for $66.4 million dollars. Located in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Tennessee, the portfolio includes 10 Outback Steakhouse restaurants and 10 Carrabba’s Italian Grill restaurants, with one dual-tenant property occupied by both concepts. Bossier City, La. — The Cordish Cos. has topped off construction of its Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana, a $270 million hospitality and gaming entertainment complex located in Bossier City. The retail entertainment owner and operator broke ground on the project in December 2023, and general contractor AnderCorp finished vertical construction at the property yesterday. Lafayette, La. — Three new tenants have signed leases at River Marketplace, a 168,000-square-foot retail center located in Lafayette. J.Crew Factory, Sephora and lululemon are scheduled to open at the property in early 2025, occupying a 16,700-square-foot building that formerly housed Books-A-Million, which closed earlier this year. A final 3,450-square-foot space within the building remains available for lease. GBT Realty Corp. acquired River Marketplace in October 2021.
Monroe, La. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $10.5 million sale of The Plaza One Shopping Center, a retail center located in Monroe. Super 1 Foods anchors the property, which totals 96,765 square feet. The center was fully leased at the time of sale. Zach Taylor and Philip Levy of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a Texas-based private investor, in the transaction. Metairie, La.— Three new tenants, all divisions of Abercrombie & Fitch Co., will open at Lakeside Shopping Center, a 1.2 million-square-foot retail center located in Metairie, roughly eight miles outside downtown New Orleans. Dorsey recently completed renovations including replacing the roof and rebuilding the façade, following hurricane damage in 2021. Dollar General will return to its previous 11,398-square-foot space, and Bayou Ju Jitsu, El Viejon and Lafourche Parish Library have additionally leased space at the center.
