Columbus, Ohio — Four retailers are opening new locations at Easton Town Center in Columbus. Sustainable shoe company Allbirds is scheduled to open May 11 and activewear retailer Alo Yoga is scheduled to open in June. FOUNT, a leather bag company, will also open this spring and Jo Malone London, a British fragrance and lifestyle brand, will join the tenant lineup this fall. Pompano Beach, Fla. — The Cordish Cos. and Caesars Entertainment Inc. (NASDAQ: CZR) are co-developing The Pomp, a 223-acre mixed-use development in Pompano Beach. The property’s name pays homage to the former Pompano Park racetrack on the project site, which is located 35 miles north of Miami and 10 miles north of Fort Lauderdale. Flagstaff, Ariz. — Faris Lee Investments has arranged the $23.5 million sale of The Marketplace, a 268,000-square-foot shopping center located in Flagstaff. Tenants at the property include Petco, Best Buy, World Market, Marshall’s, Old Navy and Bealls Outlet. Don MacLellan, Jeff Conover and Scott DeYoung of Faris Lee represented the seller, Macerich, in the all-cash transaction. A California-based 1031 investor purchased the property.

JLL Brokers $18.4 Million Sale of Retail Center in Memphis

Memphis, Tenn. — JLL Capital Markets has brokered the $18.4 million sale of Summer Center, a retail center in Memphis. Built in 1957, the property comprises 136,673 square feet and was renovated in 1992 and 2008. Kroger, Ross Dress for Less, Five Below and Aaron’s anchor the center, which was 97 percent leased at the time of sale. Jim Hamilton, Brad Buchanan and Andrew Kahn represented the seller, a joint venture between Forge Capital Partners and The Sembler Co. United Properties Corp. acquired the property.

Arlington, Va. — JBG SMITH has signed 11 restaurant tenants to Water Park, a mixed-use development currently underway in National Landing in Arlington. Brij, Bubbie’s Plant Burger, Cracked Eggery, DC Dosa, Dolci Gelati, Falafel Inc., PhoWheels, Tiki Thai, Queen Mother’s will occupy 300-square-foot kiosks at the project. The 78,010-square-foot property is 90 percent leased to tenants including Siffrin, Hallmark, Inspire Performing Arts, Aunt Susie’s Cancer Wellness Center and Giddy’s 24/7 Fitness. Dan Cooper of Cooper Group represented the seller, a private West Coast-based investor.

NAP, Nuveen Break Ground on Mixed-Use Redevelopment of Forum Peachtree Corners in Metro Atlanta

Peachtree Corners, Ga. — North American Properties (NAP) has partnered with Nuveen Real Estate to begin the redevelopment of The Forum Peachtree Corners. The partnership, which acquired the shopping center in March 2022, plans to deliver the redevelopment in phases, beginning with retail- and pedestrian-focused upgrades. Upon completion, the project will include a 125-room boutique hotel, 381 apartments, experiential retailers, eateries, structured parking and new public spaces. In addition to these uses, the developers will implement concierge services and valet offerings.
