Goose Creek, S.C. — Marcus & Millichap has arranged the $8 million sale of Harbour Lake Plaza, a 62,198-square-foot retail center located in Goose Creek, roughly 20 miles outside Charleston. Food Lion anchors the center, which occupies 51 percent of the property. The center was 97 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants including Rent-A-Center, Cricket Wireless and H&R Block. Wegmans to Open 115,000-Square-Foot Store in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

Cranberry Township, Pa. — Supermarket chain Wegmans Food Markets Inc. has announced plans to open a new store in Cranberry Township, roughly 21 miles outside Pittsburgh. This marks the chain’s first location in metro Pittsburg. Designed and constructed by Sippel Development Co., the115,000-square-foot store will feature a bakery, seafood department, meat, produce, deli and cheese options and a selection of wine and beer. Situated on 13 acres, the new store will be a part of the larger Cranberry Springs mixed-use development. Wegmans currently operates 111 stores along the East Coast.

CRAFT Restaurant & Beer Market to Open First US Location in 2026

Dallas — Food-and-beverage concept CRAFT Restaurant & Beer Market has announced plans to open its first U.S. location in the Preston Center commercial district of Dallas. Occupying a 10,500-square-foot space, the venue will feature a 360-degree bar with more than 100 beers on tap, cocktails, wine and a food menu. The restaurant, which is scheduled to open in early 2026, will also include a 5,250-square-foot rooftop patio with a full bar, booth seating, greenery and a games area. CRAFT currently operates nine restaurants throughout Canada.

Toro Breaks Ground on $560 Million Mixed-Use Project in Metro Atlanta

Johns Creek, Ga. — Toro Development Company (TDC) has broken ground on Medley, a $560 million mixed-use project in Johns Creek, approximately 27 miles north of Atlanta. Upon completion, the 43-acre development will feature 180,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space, 900 residences — with a mix of townhomes and multifamily units — and 110,000 square feet of office space. Thousand Oaks, Calif. — Marathon Asset Management has provided a $164 million mortgage loan for the acquisition of The Oaks, a shopping mall located in Thousand Oaks, roughly 38 miles west of Los Angeles. Stockdale Capital Partners is the borrower. Nordstrom, Dick’s Sporting Goods and AMC Theatres anchor the 1.2 million-square-foot property, which is situated on 85 acres. Other tenants at the center include Apple, Anthropologie, Zara, H&M and Arhaus. Joseph Griffin of Marathon originated the loan. Edgewater, Colo. — CentrePoint Properties has acquired Edgewater Public Market, a 76,000-square-foot retail center located in Edgewater, roughly five miles outside downtown Denver. Opened in 2019 within a building formerly occupied by King Soopers, the center comprises a food hall and 17 retail tenants, as well as three additional buildings leased to tenants including Shake Shack, Syrup, Veterinary Emergency Group and Adelita’s Cocina y Cantina. LCP Development, an affiliate of LCP Management, was the developer and seller.

Greenwood Village, Colo. — Sterling Organization has acquired The Orchards, a 159,272-square-foot shopping center located in Greenwood Village, roughly 10 miles south of Denver. A 78,000-square-foot King Soopers store anchors the property. Sterling purchased the center on behalf of its $267 million Sterling United Properties II LP (SUP II) fund. SUP II’s portfolio now includes approximately 2 million square feet across 16 properties.

Waldorf, Md. — SRS Real Estate Partners has arranged the $6.3 million sale of The Shoppes at Waldorf Park, a retail property situated within the larger Waldorf Park shopping center in Waldorf. Starbucks Coffee anchors the 8,484-square-foot property, which was built in 2022. Other tenants at the site include Crumbl Cookies, Jersey Mike’s and Aspen Dental. Andrew Fallon, Rick Fernandez, Ed Laycox and Philip Wellde Jr. of SRS represented the seller, Republic Land Development, in the transaction. TD Bank provided acquisition financing on behalf of the Maryland-based buyer.
