Alhambra, Calif. — Alhambra Place will include a combination of large and small national retailers and restaurants with open-air patios and walkways to create a pedestrian-friendly experience.
Shea Properties and members of the Alhambra city council have celebrated the start of construction on Alhambra Place at a groundbreaking ceremony held on site. The new mixed-use center located in the heart of downtown Alhambra will transform 10.5 acres of land into 140,000 square feet of specialty retail and dining space and 260 luxury apartment units with high-end amenities. The retail portion of the project is estimated to be completed during the summer of 2015. The apartments will begin construction in the spring of 2015 with the first units available in the fall of 2016.
