In this position, Whitaker will expand and provide leadership to investment acquisitions and sales, partner development and self-development opportunities. Whitaker will open the firm’s first Utah office.
Whitaker most recently served as Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Station Development for Transfuels LLC. He previously served as president and CEO of The Whitaker Group Inc., as well as development executive for several companies. During his career, Whitaker has procured more than 1,800 restaurants, 75 hotels, 50 shopping centers and other commercial real estate projects and ventures. Whitaker has developed in nearly all of the major markets in the United States and many international markets.
