Savers Value Village Signs 25,688-Square-Foot Lease at Santiago Hills Shopping Center in Southern California

Orange, Calif. — Savers Value Village has signed a 25,688-square-foot lease at Santiago Hills Shopping Center, a retail center located in Orange. This will mark the fifth location in the country for the chain, which operates more than 315 stores in the U.S., Canada and Australia. Terry Bortnick and Lea Clay Park of Axiom Retail Advisors represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Bryan Norcott of Newmark represented the landlord, Pacific Properties Group. Other tenants at the property include Starbucks Coffee and Albertsons.

Kneads to Open 1,302-Square-Foot Bakeshop in Baltimore

Baltimore — Kneads Bakeshop has signed a 1,302-square-foot lease to open a bakery and coffee shop within The Village of Cross Keys shopping center in Baltimore. Scheduled to open this fall, the store will be located in a new jewel box building, situated between Always Ice Cream Co. and a new Asian restaurant being opened by Atlas Restaurant Group. Caves Valley Partners is the landlord at the property, which recently underwent renovations. Two new restaurant pads are also currently underway at the center, with completion scheduled for later this year.

Sprouts Farmers Market to Open 23,228-Square-Foot Store in Yuma, Arizona

Yuma, Ariz. — Sprouts Farmers Market will open a 23,228-square-foot store in Yuma, marking the second location in the city for the Phoenix-based grocer. In addition to the Yuma Foothills Sprouts store, the property will feature an additional 11,250 square feet of attached, inline retail space. The Spencer Cos. is the landlord and project developer. Regan Amato of JLL’s Phoenix office represented Sprouts in the lease negotiations, and Thomas J. Pancrazi of A.T. Pancrazi Real Estate Services represented The Spencer Cos. A construction timeline was not disclosed.

H&M Signs 25,000-Square-Foot Lease at The Shops at Brickell City Centre in Miami

Miami — H&M has signed a 25,000-square-foot lease to occupy an anchor space at The Shops at Brickell City Centre (BCC) in Miami. Scheduled to open this year, the clothing retailer will occupy two levels at the property, which is the primary retail component of BCC, a 4.9 million-square-foot mixed-use project developed by Swire Properties that first opened in 2016. Saks Fifth Avenue anchors the development, which also features two residential towers, two office buildings and the EAST Miami hotel. Center Valley, Pa. —The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill has signed a 2,550-square-foot lease at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, a retail center located in Center Valley. Scheduled to open early this summer, the restaurant will be situated between Lashes by Gab and Komé Fine Japanese Cuisine. Other new tenants at the center include J. Crew Factory, Fulton Bank, Club Champion, Handmade Mystic, FD Market and Turning Point. The property is also home to Promenade Pop-Up Shop, a 1,500-square-foot space featuring a rotating mix of local retailers.

Miami — Villa One Tequila will open a 12,294-square-foot Villa One Tequila Gardens restaurant at the Miami Worldcenter in downtown Miami. Scheduled to open in 2025, the venue will feature more than 150 tequila and mezcal options and Mexican cuisine in a rooftop space. Allen, Texas — Eatertainment concept Chicken N Pickle has broken ground on a new venue at The Farm in Allen, a 135-acre mixed-use project located in the Dallas suburb of Allen. Upon completion, the facility will comprise 43,000 square feet and feature indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, lawn games and a full-service restaurant. The opening is scheduled for early 2025. Other entertainment tenants at The Farm, which is being developed by JaRyCo, include High 5 and The Hub.

Columbus, Ohio — Six new retailers are scheduled to open at Easton Town Center in Columbus this year. Louis Vuitton is opening a newly expanded and redesigned space at the shopping center, marking its largest retail space within Ohio. David Yurman, Golden Goose, BOSS and Breitling are all opening their first stores in Ohio. Additionally, L’Occitane is moving and expanding into a larger space at Easton, which opened 25 years ago and is leased to more than 250 fashion, dining and entertainment retailers.
