Seattle — Seattle-based retailer Nordstrom has announced plan to open 26 new Nordstrom Rack stores. Openings are scheduled to begin this spring and continue through spring 2025. The sites of the new stores include locations in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio and Texas.
Omaha, Neb. — Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors has brokered the $7.7 million sale of a single-tenant retail property located in Omaha. Topgolf occupies the 24,496-square-foot building on a triple-net-lease basis. Built in 2020 on 10.2 acres, the property is situated near a Chipotle Mexican Grill, X-Golf and the site of a future nine-acre mixed-use development. Jeff Lefko and Bill Asher of Hanley represented the developer and seller, a locally based private investor, in the transaction. Ashish Wadhwani of Wadhwani Holdings represented the Houston-based buyer.
Omaha, Neb. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $7 million sale of Plaza Q36, an 81,592-square-foot retail center located in Omaha. The property was fully leased at the time of sale. Alex Perez of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a limited liability company, in the transaction, with assistance from Jon Ruzicka, the firm’s broker of record in the state.
Iowa, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska and Wisconsin — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of a 22-property portfolio occupied by Arby’s in the Midwest for $35.1 million. The net-leased assets are located in Iowa, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska and Wisconsin. Drew Isaac and Brian Bailey of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, an Arby’s franchisee. As part of the sale, new leases were executed for the properties. The buyer was undisclosed.
Omaha, Neb. — Northmarq has arranged the $5.3 million refinancing of Clocktower Village in Omaha. The retail strip center spans 44,000 square feet and is located at 605 N. 98th St. John Reed of Northmarq arranged the fixed-rate loan, which features a 10-year term and a 25-year amortization schedule.
